Hi, I'm Werner — the person behind Wékes Minis, a miniature painting studio based in Berlaar, Belgium.

I started painting miniatures out of pure passion for the hobby, and what began as a personal obsession has grown into a full studio where I teach, paint commissions, and help others fall in love with the craft. Whether you're a complete beginner picking up a brush for the first time or a seasoned hobbyist looking to level up, I've built Wékes Minis around one idea: miniature painting should be accessible, enjoyable, and rewarding for everyone.

From my studio in Berlaar I offer miniature painting courses and workshops for all levels, commission painting for Warhammer 40K, Dungeons & Dragons, Age of Sigmar, and beyond, and a growing online community for painters across Belgium and the Netherlands.

I believe in quality over shortcuts — I use only professional-grade paints and materials, and every piece I paint gets the same care whether it's a single D&D character or a full army. My students get the same attention: small groups, hands-on guidance, and honest feedback that actually makes you better.

If you're looking for a miniature painting studio in Belgium, I'd love to hear about your project.
